Introducing our newest grandchild and fourth granddaughter, beautiful Kathryn Jean Pitre; born 15 September 2011, 7 lbs 13 ounces. She definitely looks like a Pitre and there is still much discussion about whether we are going to call her Kathryn or Katy on a daily basis.
She gave us all a little scare as she inhaled some meconium when she was born via C-section so had to be transferred to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. Thankfully she was able to come home after 4 days to her anxious mother, father, and big sister Gracie, who said - "my little sister needs me"! Big brother Zach seems to like her and isn't too jealous. Both are good helpers to grab frequently needed diapers and wipes.
I went to Florida to help Mom and
baby for a few days on Sept 23rd. We mostly stayed home and enjoyed a couple of entire days in our PJ's. We did venture out one warm day to go to a small lake beach near Disney.
Gracie and Zach enjoyed playing games on my IPad.

We did have some excitement one night when this pesky raccoon returned to raid Max's dog food container on the patio table. I chased him off three times before finally surrendering and bringing the food and Milkbones inside.
